Dart Throw rulings

2022-10-07
The card you throw must be a traditionally sized Magic card. It can be in a card sleeve if you’d like, but it can’t be otherwise modified. It must be thrown onto the battlefield from at least three feet (about one meter) away horizontally.
2022-10-07
No player may interfere with the throwing of the card, including while it’s in flight.
2022-10-07
Check whether the thrown card touches Dart Throw after it stops moving. If it touched Dart Throw but came to rest not touching it, that’s a miss.
2022-10-07
Card sleeves are considered part of the card. If the thrown card (or its own card sleeve) touches Dart Throw’s sleeve, it is considered to be touching Dart Throw.

Dart Throw keyword rules

Open an Attraction Rule 701.48

A player may open an Attraction only during a game in which that player is playing with an Attraction deck (see rule , “Attraction Cards”).

To open an Attraction, move the top card of your Attraction deck off the Attraction deck, turn it face up, and put it onto the battlefield under your control.

An ability which triggers whenever a player opens an Attraction triggers when that player puts an Attraction card onto the battlefield while performing the instruction in the above rule. If an effect prevents that Attraction from entering the battlefield or replaces entering the battlefield with another event, that ability doesn’t trigger.
