You choose which spells to cast (if any) as Kylox, Visionary Inventor's last ability resolves. If you choose to cast any spells, you do so as part of the resolution of that ability. You can't wait to cast them later in the turn. Timing restrictions based on the cards' types are ignored.

If you cast a spell "without paying its mana cost", you can't choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the spell.

Haste Rule 702.10

Haste is a static ability.

If a creature has haste, it can attack even if it hasn’t been controlled by its controller continuously since their most recent turn began. (See rule .)

If a creature has haste, its controller can activate its activated abilities whose cost includes the tap symbol or the untap symbol even if that creature hasn’t been controlled by that player continuously since their most recent turn began. (See rule .)

Menace Rule 702.111

Menace is an evasion ability.

A creature with menace can’t be blocked except by two or more creatures. (See rule , “Declare Blockers Step.”)

Ward Rule 702.21

Ward is a triggered ability. Ward [cost] means “Whenever this permanent becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter that spell or ability unless that player pays [cost].”

Some ward abilities include an X in their cost and state what X is equal to. This value is determined at the time the ability resolves, not locked in as the ability triggers.
