Skulking Ghost rulings

2021-03-19
Skulking Ghost's triggered ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.
2021-03-19
If the spell that targets Skulking Ghost has no other targets, it won't resolve (because it no longer has a legal target after Gossamer Phantasm has been sacrificed).

Flying Rule 702.9

Flying is an evasion ability.

A creature with flying can’t be blocked except by creatures with flying and/or reach. A creature with flying can block a creature with or without flying. (See rule , “Declare Blockers Step,” and rule , “Reach.”)

Multiple instances of flying on the same creature are redundant.
