Medomai the Ageless rulings

2013-09-15
An "extra turn" is any turn created by a spell or ability. Notably, it doesn't include additional turns taken in tournaments after time expires for a round.

It doesn't matter whose turn it is. In very rare cases, an opponent may be taking an extra turn and gain control of Medomai. Medomai can't attack during that turn.

Flying Rule 702.9

Flying is an evasion ability.

A creature with flying can’t be blocked except by creatures with flying and/or reach. A creature with flying can block a creature with or without flying. (See rule , “Declare Blockers Step,” and rule , “Reach.”)

Multiple instances of flying on the same creature are redundant.
