Miasma Demon rulings

2024-09-20
You don't choose targets for Miasma Demon's last ability at the time it triggers. Rather, a second "reflexive" ability triggers when you discard cards this way. You choose targets for that ability as it goes on the stack. Each player may respond to this triggered ability as normal.

Flying Rule 702.9

Flying is an evasion ability.

A creature with flying can’t be blocked except by creatures with flying and/or reach. A creature with flying can block a creature with or without flying. (See rule , “Declare Blockers Step,” and rule , “Reach.”)

Multiple instances of flying on the same creature are redundant.
