Curse of Verbosity rulings

2017-08-25
Each Curse's ability triggers only once, no matter how many creatures are attacking the enchanted player.
2017-08-25
A player is attacking another player if they control a creature that's attacking that player. If no creatures are attacking the enchanted player as a Curse's ability resolves (most likely because they've left the battlefield), only the Curse's controller performs its actions.
2017-08-25
The triggered ability of these Curses won't trigger if only a planeswalker controlled by the enchanted player is attacked.
2017-08-25
If you enchant yourself with one of these Curses, you'll get its effects whenever another player attacks you.

Curse of Verbosity keyword rules

Enchant Rule 702.5

Enchant is a static ability, written “Enchant [object or player].” The enchant ability restricts what an Aura spell can target and what an Aura can enchant.

For more information about Auras, see rule , “Enchantments.”

If an Aura has multiple instances of enchant, all of them apply. The Aura’s target must follow the restrictions from all the instances of enchant. The Aura can enchant only objects or players that match all of its enchant abilities.

Auras that can enchant a player can target and be attached to players. Such Auras can’t target permanents and can’t be attached to permanents.
