Glorious Enforcer rulings
Glorious Enforcer's triggered ability checks whether you have more life than an opponent at the beginning of each combat to see if it triggers. If you don't, the ability won't trigger at all. The ability will check again as it tries to resolve. If you don't at that time, the ability won't do anything. You must have more life than an opponent at both times for Glorious Enforcer to get double strike. It does not, however, need to be the same opponent both times.
After the triggered ability resolves, Glorious Enforcer will continue to have double strike until the end of the turn no matter what players' life totals are.
Glorious Enforcer keyword rules
Flying Rule 702.9
Flying is an evasion ability.
A creature with flying can’t be blocked except by creatures with flying and/or reach. A creature with flying can block a creature with or without flying. (See rule , “Declare Blockers Step,” and rule , “Reach.”)
Multiple instances of flying on the same creature are redundant.
Lifelink Rule 702.15
Lifelink is a static ability.
Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that source’s controller, or its owner if it has no controller, to gain that much life (in addition to any other results that damage causes). See rule .
If an object changes zones before an effect causes it to deal damage, its last known information is used to determine whether it had lifelink.
The lifelink rules function no matter what zone an object with lifelink deals damage from.
If multiple sources with lifelink deal damage at the same time, they cause separate life gain events (see rules –10).
Multiple instances of lifelink on the same object are redundant.
