Iroh, Dragon of the West rulings

  • Multiple instances of firebending on the same creature trigger separately, each granting you the appropriate amount of mana.

  • Mana from firebending abilities isn't lost until you leave combat and go to your second main phase. It can be used at any time during combat, even after combat damage has been dealt.

  • Firebending abilities aren't mana abilities. They use the stack and can be responded to.

  • "Firebending N" is a keyword that represents the ability "Whenever this creature attacks, add N one red mana. Until end of combat, you don't lose this mana as steps end."

  • Any other mana you add during combat will still be lost as normal when moving between steps of combat.

Iroh, Dragon of the West keyword rules

Mentor Rule 702.134

Mentor is a triggered ability. “Mentor” means “Whenever this creature attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on target attacking creature with power less than this creature’s power.”

If a creature has multiple instances of mentor, each triggers separately.

An ability that triggers whenever a creature mentors another creature triggers whenever a mentor ability whose source is the first creature and whose target is the second creature resolves.

Haste Rule 702.10

Haste is a static ability.

If a creature has haste, it can attack even if it hasn’t been controlled by its controller continuously since their most recent turn began. (See rule .)

If a creature has haste, its controller can activate its activated abilities whose cost includes the tap symbol or the untap symbol even if that creature hasn’t been controlled by that player continuously since their most recent turn began. (See rule .)

Multiple instances of haste on the same creature are redundant.
